Blind Dates
2008-2009
With Blind Dates the Media & Design Academy takes perception, blindness, see and not see, visibility and invisibility as a starting point for a design research project. In a number of ‘blind dates’ (designer-researcher, designer-artist, designer-blind sighted between design disciplines) we explore through research design. In collaboration with artist Ief Spincemaille the research of the students bring out a series of discussions and actions about (visual) perception, reality and fiction.
