MULTIPLE voice/vision
This arts research project explores possible forms of interaction and ‘remediation’ in and between musical polyphony and audiovisual form.
The project is structured in 2 phases:
In the first phase “Ein musikalisches Opfer” from Johann Sebastian Bach is input for experimental design explorations in search of an audiovisual form that is a match for this contrapuntal music. The output of this first phase will be presented in a concert/installation in AMUZ & M spring 2011.
In the second phase of the project this audiovisual form/installation will serve as input for the creation of a new composition by Joachim Brackx. Final output of the project will be presented in a hybrid concert/installation in AMUZ & M spring 2012.
