Design by Performance
Saturday the 13th I am attending the Design by Performance Opening. Like the exhibition on Critical Design in 2007, this exhibition promises to present a quite interesting perspective on design. Design is presented in relation to how people perform it, like the image in the invitation clearly illustrates. Therefore the opening (the program is presented in the flyer in this post) will present different performative design activities. Unfold will do some live printing of little clay figures, for example. And of course some Djs will perform too during the evening/night.
The invitation by Z33 is also performed in an animation “Seeking comfort in a uncomfortable chair” (Kristof Vrancken en Seppe Baeyens, concept based on work by Bruno Munari).
